In 1974, the most celebrated American R&B acts of the time came together with the most renowned musicians in Southern Africa for a three night concert: Zaire 74. Featuring James Brown, B.B. King, Bill Withers and many other greats, the festival was run alongside the epic fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman: The Rumble in the Jungle.

Composed entirely of restored unseen footage, Soul Power shows these talented musicians at the height of their careers, inspired to return to their African roots to give the performances of their lives. This is an unbridled musical journey for all ages.
