Bacon Theatre, Dean Close School, Shelburne Road, CheltenhamAs well as the Bacon Theatre’s professional programme of touring theatre, live music, dance, film and celebrity speakers, the Bacon Theatre is also available for hire at extremely competitive rates. Seating 566 patrons on two levels in a comfortable and modern auditorium, the Bacon Theatre is equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.
Dean Close School also has two further venues. The Prince Michael Hall is a vibrantly designed, intimate recital space, seating 120 and the Tuckwell Amphitheatre, a beautiful stone built amphitheatre nestled in a secluded corner of the school, plays host to a lively open-air theatre festival during July and August.
With free on-site parking, affordable ticket prices, a fully licensed bar and well-stocked refreshments area, the Bacon Theatre is justifiably proud of what it has to offer. The Front of House team are also committed to providing the highest standard of customer care, making all three venues some of the friendliest places to be entertained in Gloucestershire!
