Contemporary artist making performance, video, sound, web-based and digital works. Socially engaged work and participatory projects are central to my arts practice, and I work both individually and collaboratively drawing on over 25 years of professional experience as an artist, performer and producer.
My work is fundamentally influenced by place, geography and culture and often explores human perception and experience in relation to specific sites and events. Collaboration with people from a diversity of places and communities - often with those who have no experience of being involved in such projects - is embedded into the process of making work through conversation, devising and production.

Throughout my career, place specific work connected to communities has been a core focus: establishing a thriving community arts centres in the 80s in Central Somerset, co-directing the first independepent youth theatre exchange between Somerset and Russia, producing one of the first internet

From 2001 to 2010 I worked as an Associate Lecturer in Theatre at the internationally renowned Dartington College of Arts, Devon (now relocated to Falmouth) on BA Theatre course, teaching contemporary composition and site based practice, across the curriculum
I live in South West London, as well as having a base in Somerset having worked in and out of the county for many years engaging in projects across South West England, in Cumbria, Lancashire, West Midlands, and internationally in St Petersburg Russia, Republic of Georgia and Cameroon.
