Self financing voluntary theatre presenting work by local amateur groups. Seats 144. Full season of drama, music and dance with occasional talks and lectures. Avaliable for hire. You need somewhere to put on a play, rehearse, for your choir to sing, a venue for your dance troupe, a new home for your annual general meeting, a fashion show ... We will advertise your event in our mailings, the press, on this site and other outlets. You will get posters and fliers to promote yourselves. You will receive full advice and backing from our volunteers to help you with sound, lighting and stage management. - Four seats can be removed to accommodate wheelchairs, with level access to the building and foyer. Let us know you are coming and we will be pleased to help you in any way we can. We are sorry but at the present time we do not have an adapted toilet for wheelchair users. Funds permitting, it is one of our priorities. An induction loop has been installed to help patrons who use a hearing aid. Operating in all but the first three rows it amplifies the stage sound to enhance your enjoyment of the presentation. Switch your aid to T or MT to make use of the loop. Theatre staff will be happy to help and advise you. We are sorry but backstage areas are not at present accessible to disabled performers and staff.
