We take a national lead, with our partners, on the development of dance leadership and integrated dance practice.

We:

• provide dance expertise, information and networking
• develop training and pathways for talent and professional development 
• deliver inspiring projects with the vulnerable and disadvantaged, as well as schools, youth and community groups
• co-ordinate a range of platforms, festivals, showcases and dance tasters
• co-promote and commission dance for theatres and other spaces
• work in partnership towards the aims of local health and wellbeing and social strategies

CPD opportunities in inclusive dance
Bite Size Ignite builds on the success of GD’s national Ignite programme for choreographers with disabilities. It is designed to facilitate sharing and development in the inclusive practice of disabled and non-disabled choreographers and dancers. For further information, please click here
