Word of Mouth is a one-day workshop that will use drama, music and impro techniques, multi-lingualism and a range of classical and contemporary texts to unpack and explore the 'language' of theatre-making.

Aimed at Somerset based theatre practitioners and graduates, this workshop will:-
• Provide a practical ‘tool kit' of exercises and techniques that can be used in many professional and participatory contexts
• Explore how live and recorded music can impact on text and spoken word
• Experiment with making musical and linguistic choices in a theatrical context
• Establish how non-musicians can grow musical knowledge
• Look at how texts can be adapted multi-lingually for a wide audience base
• Create new material for further development
