With the Spring tour just ended and Summer apparently upon us, July is the perfect time to join the Company for a series of in-depth intensive workshops to experience how the Company works and to explore Hofesh's process.

Each Intensive also features a masterclass with the man himself - 
so now is your chance to join the Company for a week...

There are limited spaces still available, so read below for more details on each Intensive and pick
the one that suits you best: 

ENERGY AND EMOTION- £225 - 240
Date: 10 - 14 July

Focus: These sessions will focus on the way Hofesh Shechter uses and responds to changes in energy and emotion within his work, aiming to give participants the
experience of connecting their emotional palate to their physicality, and influencing their movement quality and vocabulary with their emotions and sensations.
Using current repertory as a starting point, participants will explore how different emotional states influence the movement vocabulary and create specific atmospheres
within the works.
The sessions will culminate in a masterclass with Hofesh Shechter on Saturday 14th.

Professional: 10.00 - 2.30pm Monday - Friday, 10.00 - 12.00pm Saturday
Intermediate: 3.30 - 8.00pm Monday - Friday, 1.00 - 3.00pm Saturday

INTRODUCTION TO HOFESH SHECHTER COMPANY - £225 - 240
Date: 23 - 28 July
Time: 6.00 – 9.30pm Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm Saturday including a masterclass with Hofesh Shechter.

Focus: Designed to accommodate those of us who work a 9 – 5 or similar, this Intensive will give participants a whistle-stop tour of Hofesh Shechter’s portfolio of
works, culminating in a masterclass with Hofesh on Saturday 28th. 
This Intensive will offer participants the chance to experience each of Hofesh's vivid realities, delving into their specific emotional atmospheres and working on his
characteristc movement vocabulary to produce a well rounded understanding of the repertory.

Level: Intermediate - First and second year students in full or part time training, intermediate/advanced recreational dancers

POLITICAL MOTHER - £225 - 240
Date: 30 July – 3 August 2012
Time: 10.00am– 2.30pm  

Focus: This Intensive will feature an in-depth study of Hofesh's critically acclaimed work Political Mother. Currently toured by the Company worldwide, the Intensive will give
participants an opportunity to understand the essence and unique movement vocabulary behind this highly-charged and explosive piece. 
Drawing on the work, participants will explore the the jerky, hollow, intense movement quality and the gritty emotional complexity of the rich characters within this
conflicting world.
The sessions will also include a masterclass with Hofesh Shechter on Thursday 2nd.

Level: Professional dancers/recent graduates and third year students in full time dance training.

IN YOUR ROOMS - £225 - 240
Date: 30 July – 3 August 2012 
Time: 3.30pm– 8.00pm 

Focus:  This Intensive will feature an in-depth study of Hofesh's stunning breakthrough work In your rooms. In your rooms gives participants the opportunity to explore the
very core of Hofesh's movement vocabulary - focusing on floorwork, fluidity and the strong emotional grounding which gives Hofesh his signature movement style.
The sessions will also include a masterclass with Hofesh Shechter on Thursday 2nd.
