Michael Paul Greenman

I am a self employed actor/ workshop facilitator living and working in Gloucestershire. My training began at East 15 Acting School on the Cert HE in Acting where I went on to recieve a BA Hons in Community Theatre. As an actor I have worked with Fair Game Theatre Company, Old Spot Theatre Company, Jenny Wren Theatre Company and co founded the Subject2Change Theatre Company in London. As a workshop facilitator I specialise in workshops for young people with behavioural issues. I have worked for Geese Theatre Company and have worked extensivly with the Everyman Outreach Dept.

Key Projects

The King of Spains Daughter

A production of Gloucestershire Old Spot's original script written and directed by Olly Crick. Based around Comedia stock characters and using physical theatre, K.O.S.D toured round local colleges and village halls as well as small theatre venues.

Old Spot Christmas Carol

Christmas Carol with an Old Spot twist. Performed at the Everyman Studio Theatre on a six week run.

Two Loves

Written and Directed by John Martin-Stevens "Two Loves" used Shakespeare's sonnets to explore an intensly sexualised love triangle between a poet, his mistress and a young apprentice.

Macbeth

Fair Game's production of Macbeth, updated and with musical interludes performed from within the ensemble cast. In this production I played base guitar and took on the roles of Malcolm and the Porter. Directed by Greg Banks.

A Child In The Forest

Jenny Wrens production of Winifred Foleys novel, performed at various open air venues throughout Gloucestershire. I played the role of Charlie, Winifred father. This show was so popular a return run was booked in the Everyman Studio space.

Pygmallion Project/ Funny Boy

An original script written by Tobias Smith and directed by Jenny Wicks as part of Jenny Wren Theatre Company. Performed at the Everyman Theatre.
