Chloe of the Midnight Storytellers

I am a SPOKEN WORD ARTIST with 10 years' experience. Member of UK Equity. £10m PLI.

  • Performance: My repertoire mixes story (original and traditional) with comedy and performance poetry. Includes hot off the tongue improv. Best selling show is TALES OF LUST & CHOCOLATE - never blue, just lightly spiced. Other acclaimed shows are the genre bending ELECTRIC TALES and the seriously spooky VOICE OF DARKNESS. More comedy coming soon...
  • Schools storytelling: for Years 3 to 8. The 'dragon expert' persona of Special Agent Green is (allegedly) from GCHQ - from a department so secret, even they don't know she exists! In leather dragon-proof cloak and diamond studded shades, 'Agent Green' tells dragon tales from around the world and discusses the care and training of your dragon... Real science and powerful moral messages weave through the fantasy. Option: can be accompanied by keyboard + sound effects. (Enhanced CRB from Gloucs. Education)
  • Schools/Colleges: Drama, English, SEAL, PSHE etc: For young people eg sixth form, for gifted and talented students: LEGENDS OF BRITAIN - celebrating the rich story heritage of the British Isles for our Olympic year. Murderous trees, wild magic, adventure, laughter, justice...
  • Continuous professional development + lifelong learning: I offer Presentation Skills training using storytelling techniques, plus leisure workshops Storytelling Skills for All and StoryMaker! (Best ever cure for writers' block...)
