Following the Spending Review last Wednesday our colleagues at the Independent Theatre Council emailed us, and all its members with a selection of links that they have collated providing the main coverage of this story, the announcements and media comments.
As you will all know by now, the Arts Council will have its budget cut by 29.6% over the period 2011-2014. The Treasury, however, has requested that only 15% of this is passed to front-line arts organisations. The Arts Council will announce how they will implement the cuts shortly after its National Council meets on 25 October.
